Established in 1993 The Roberts Partnership delivers cost effective business and training solutions to both public and private sector clients.

Our growing team comprises well qualified, experienced and professional administrators, facilitators, trainers and consultants. We are able to provide consultative analysis into the design of training through to the most effective delivery and evaluation.


Keith Jeffrey

Director / Trainer / Facilitator

Keith founded The Roberts Partnership in 1993 after a career in public, private and academic sectors. His main business interests focus on economic development and encouraging business to start and grow. Keith has been involved in training and development for many years and currently specialises in enabling individuals and companies to improve their communications and presentation skills. Keith enjoys the outdoor life and escapes the city most weekends to his place in Cairngorm National Park.


Sally Clark

Company Secretary / Project Manager

Sally has been with the company since 1994 and is a highly professional and skilled administrator who enjoys managing large and complex projects. Her business interests include customer relationship management, and networking. Outside of business Sally's interests are hill walking, reading philosophy and monkeys.


Ewan Stark


Ewan, who is studying Business Studies at the University of Edinburgh, joined us in June 2018 as a part-time administrator. This is not the first time he has worked with The Roberts Partnership as Ewan spend a week with us back in 2015 as his work experience when still at school!

Our Trainers

The Roberts Partnership's team of trainers forms a formidable group of experienced business people capable of leading diverse groups through great training experiences. All of our trainers have managed or run their own businesses. They understand the issues individuals and organisations face when starting and growing businesses and can build this into applied training and development.


John Allan

John is an experienced business trainer and consultant. He specialises in Finance and Project Management, working with Start-Ups and developing businesses.

John also has a special interest in bees. He is working in collaboration with European Universities and businesses on a major project to assess the impact of agricultural techniques on the health and population of this essential crop pollinator.


Marion Archibald

Marion is an experienced trainer who joins us from the private sector. Marion combines training whilst developing her photography business after recently graduating from Glasgow School of Art.


Karen Barr

Karen Barr joined The Roberts Partnership in early 2004. She is an experienced coach, trainer and business facilitator, who is enthusiastic and passionate about developing and encouraging human potential. She has recently attained a MSc in Mindfulness and is a fully accredited Mindfulness teacher, working primarily with organisations to develop staff resilience and promote creativity through mindfulness.


Yvonne Bostock

With a background in research and training Yvonne bring a wealth of experience to the team with focus on facilitation and training. She has a special interest in supporting, and mentoring young people and is a trainer for the Princes Trust. A believer in 'fit body - fit mind', she is a regular runner and ran the Edinburgh marathon a couple of years ago in support of Women for Women International.


Michelle Brown

Michelle Brown is our PR/Marketing & Communications specialist trainer/consultant with over 20 years' experience delivering highly creative and results-driven corporate, consumer and B2B campaigns across all media forums including print, online and all broadcasting platforms. She also founded her own PR agency, Michelle Brown PR in 2014 where she has an impressive portfolio of UK-wide clients across all sectors. Michelle is a great communicator and delivers our workshops in an engaging, informative way....with loads of humour!


Andrew Burnett

Andrew has evolved from design through building to promotion of all things digital for over 20 years, since 2007 his personal website has been number one on Google for social media Scotland. Andrew's company helleau® develops brand strategies for clients from solopreneurs to nation states as well as developing practical courses for universities and clients alike. Andrew's ethnicity is the same as James Bond's (Scottish father / Swiss mother) he never shakes his whisky, but he does stir his fondue


Jamie Duncan

Jamie is a strategic, data-driven and creative marketer, specialising in digital project delivery. He is also Founder of JD Business Marketing. With a strong and varied technical background gained via working with a range of clients from startups to large global businesses, Jamie has extensive hands-on experience in website design and development, digital marketing, graphic design, SEO and analytics. Jamie also manages ScotlandIS' e-Placement Scotland project.


Sam Forsberg

Sam is a business coach, and works with business owners to help them achieve better results with their time, team & money. Originally from Australia, Sam grew up in a family-run business and has been coaching, and in business herself, for over 13 years. Outside work, Sam is a runner (#loveParkrun!), a Toastmaster and is passionate about animals and nature - which are a constant source of inspiration for her.


Katie Goudie

Katie Goudie is consultant and trainer supporting small business with their digital marketing strategy. She has over 7 years of experience creating content for the web and social media in the private, public and voluntary sectors. In her spare time Katie volunteers with The Scouts and is in training as a competitive powerlifter !


Isabelle Henderson

Isabelle is an International Trade Adviser with experience as an export sales manager, dealing with agents, distributors and retailers across multiple countries. She has been helping small Scottish companies across all industries to import and export now for 8 years. Studying to obtain her customs diploma in 2021 and already offering support for customs requirements and Brexit.


Kenneth Mackay

Kenneth has been delivering online success since founding Initiative2 in Aberdeen in 2002. He specialises in how to use SEO, Google Ads, and social pay-per-click to generate leads, enquiries, and business for clients throughout the English-speaking world. Kenneth is always happy to help turn things around, offer pragmatic advice, and practical solutions.


Alan Martin

Alan is an experienced trainer who specialises in social media and PR. When not training, Alan also acts as Chairman of the Tayside branch of the Chartered Institute and enjoys reading and hill walking.


Brian Mathers

Brian has been an Internet Marketing Practitioner since 1998. Today he teaches and consults on the principles of how search engines work and what it takes to have a fit for purpose website to support a business wanting to sell products or services. Brian engages in internet marketing troubleshooting, SEO, Pay per Click issues, Google Analytics data and assessing the technical performance of websites.


Stuart Richardson

Stuart is an experienced Business Manager with a background in marketing & sales and the creation and development of growth businesses. A Founding Director of TRICapital, an Angel Investment Company, Stuart is also an expert in Effectiveness helping many people achieve their own and their organisation's goals. His published book, The TRIM Course has been very well received across the world.


Jen Suttie

Jen is a seasoned HR professional who is equally versed in working with start-ups and early stage companies, to mid-market companies and global players. Through listening to understand the problems, she provides advice and guidance in a practical and grounded way. She has a passion and enthusiasm towards making a difference. She has 20+ years' HR and business experience and is a Chartered Member of CIPD.


John Taylor

John joined the training team and consultancy team in 2010 and brings with him his reknowned expertise in Information Technology. He is our expert in all things to do with Search Engine Optimisation and Social Media.


Alan Tomkins

Alan's background is engineering, business and technology. Alan is an experienced sales and marketing professional and highly focused on helping businesses digitally acquire more clients. Outside work Alan can be found motorcycling, ballroom dancing, playing badminton or off road cycling.


Jan Young

Jan is a highly respected trainer with extensive experience, particularly in management & staff development. She also holds our HR surgeries for Business Gateway Edinburgh clients and has been an Associate of TRP since 1996. Her family live in Australia and she and her husband enjoy their holidays in sunny Oz every year.
